About Andy
NEWS! I was selected as 1 of the 30 RSS Pioneers in 2022! Also, I just finished organizing a  workshop at ICRA 2022 on Compliant Manipulation. Stay tuned for a follow-up workshop at ICRA 2023!

Welcome! I am an Applied Science Intern at Amazon Robotics AI in Berlin, Germany! When not on leave, I am a PhD student at Yale University specializing in Robotics. I earned degrees from Youngstown State University in 2017 (BE in Electrical Engineering, BS in Computer Science) and Yale University in 2019 (MS in Engineering Sciences, MPhil in Engineering Sciences). Currently, I am pursuing my interests in robot manipulation in the Yale GRAB Lab with funding through the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). I spend my waking hours on various STEM outreach initiatives, research projects, and trying to have some fun along the way
